The SOD-123FL package's pin structure and clamp design allow low forward voltage. The interior design of the attachment clamp has better surge current capability than that of the bonded lead package, and it is suitable for the application of transient voltage suppression. A Morimi semiconductor uses a low leakage current silicon technology in the new package to save energy.

WEET SOD123FL uses 100% tin (Sn) to coat all the exterior plating surfaces. It can be re-welded at 260C to reach the first moisture sensitivity level (MSL), and is compatible with the existing reverse welding process.
